Accademia Alfredo Colombo
Designed during the hardest months of 2020 in the midst of the pandemic, «Accademia Alfredo Colombo» has become a reality thanks to the acquisition and renovation of a 2,000 sq m building adjacent to our production plant within which 600 square meters are dedicated to an exclusive setting for training, not only technical-mechanical but also based on humanistic topics, cultural values and attitudes.
The initiative was born from the desire to find IN the Company concrete solutions for specific needs such as:
- training of qualified technical people to hire for our production departments
- dedication of special time and a specific area for the professional growth of people already working in the Company
- enhancement of our employees through professional and human experiences, entrusting them with the opportunity of teaching colleagues or new students the specific topics of their business areas
Knowledge sharing promotes constant skills growth, common good and value education, which are distinctive elements of our Company.
In a more and more complex and volatile job market the ever-growing awareness that training guarantees business continuity and that competition is based on human values have become fundamental elements for being a successful company.
IFTS Courses:
the post-diploma pathways for new generations
Since 2021/2022, first academic year, we have been offering a IFTS course in “Product and Process Industrialization Techniques” co-designed with ITS Lombardia Meccatronica a school located in the area and renowned for professional training in the fields of mechanics and mechatronics.
The course is a one-year post-diploma proposal. At the end of the course, participants will receive a Higher Technical Specialization Certificate, valid for the Italian and for the European job markets.
Young people aged 18 to 24 years old can access the course if:
- they have completed the high school (any field of study)
- they have got a IeFP Professional Technical Diploma
- they are attending university but are not completely sure about their choice
From the very beginning of the course all the participants will be hired with an annual apprenticeship contract. The course will be structured as follows:
- 375 hours of external training (at school)
- 540 hours of internal training (at Accademia Alfredo Colombo)
- working experience alongside with expert tutors (at the company’s production plant)
We believe in young talents and we give our contribution to reduce the phenomenon of school dropouts.

Along with its social responsibility towards new generations, Accademia Alfredo Colombo plays a crucial role in providing the continuous training to its collaborators and partners both on technical subjects and on different and more transversal contents.
We constantly collect the Knowledge generated within the Company updating the training catalog Accademia Alfredo Colombo which includes:
- 5 thematic areas
- more than 25 training modules
- a team of 20 internal teachers
With our constantly updated training offer we aim to guarantee a personalized and qualified service for granting professional growth not only to our people but to the entire Value Chain.
With a meticulous teamwork driven by the desire to constantly innovate and improve, we aim to do our job in the best way with the maximum competence and the most advanced technologies to better face market challenges and catch new opportunities.
Our partners can choose one or more courses directly from the catalog or create a customized training project supported by our teachers.
